Territory Salesperson, Production Animal Division (Animal Health)

Location: Remote territory based in Alberta, supporting Northern Alberta and requiring extensive travel with overnight stays

What you will do

• Oversee an established dealer and veterinary sales territory in Northern Alberta.
• Develop and execute a sales coverage plan for the Production Animal division.
• Make regular and cold sales calls to production-animal veterinarians, feed and farm dealers, and tack shops.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners in the Production Animal industry.
• Maintain accurate expense and call reports and keep management informed about industry news and developments.
• Coordinate with an inside sales partner and contribute to regional sales targets within a team environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc. university degree or Animal Health Technology diploma.
• At least five years of related industry experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays, is required.
