State and Local Tax Transaction Automation Intern (Tax Technology)

Location: Edison, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

Compensation: $36–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Support sales and use tax consulting and automation engagements.
• Assist with tax technology implementations, system testing, and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze client data and prepare project deliverables and documentation.
• Research state and local tax regulations to support compliance and technology solution design.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours.
• Work toward a B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, at an accredited university.
• Major in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, IT, or a similar technology field.
• Travel to assigned client locations is required, with reliable transportation available.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, multitasking, and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Entry-level candidates must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

• A minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
