Chicago Business Performance Improvement Intern - 2027

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with in-person work in the local office and on client sites. Interns must be available to work in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship and may travel locally or out of state based on client and project needs.

Salary: $28–$38 per hour.

What you will do

• Support client engagements across finance, operations, people and change, and supply chain and operations.
• Help develop solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, compliance, risk management, and business transformation.
• Analyze, synthesize, organize, and interpret business data and information.
• Document findings, share recommendations, and collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders.
• Work across industries and participate in internal initiatives while developing technical, professional, and leadership capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, project management, supply chain, or another relevant business discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Expected to be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship.
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, creativity, analytical ability, and teamwork skills.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting and finance processes, organizational operations, documenting findings, and sharing recommendations.

• Strong academic background and relevant technical proficiency aligned with the assigned capability area.
