Houston Business Performance Improvement Intern - 2027

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Hybrid workplace with in-person work in local offices and on client sites; remote and in-person requirements vary by client, project, and team. Interns must be available to work in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship, with possible local or out-of-state travel.

Hourly rate: $28–$38 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with consultants and clients to deliver solutions for complex business problems.
• Support finance performance management through solutions that align people, processes, and technology.
• Assist with financial reporting remediation, compliance, accounting rules, and reporting challenges.
• Contribute to people and change initiatives focused on talent, employee experience, and sustained behavior change.
• Support supply chain and operations improvements involving cost reduction, efficiency, risk reduction, and operational execution.
• Document findings, share recommendations, and participate in internal initiatives across industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain, or another relevant business discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Expected to be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship and at least 18 years old.
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, innovation, teamwork, analytical ability, and data interpretation skills.
• Foundation in accounting and finance processes, organizational operations, documenting findings, and sharing recommendations.
