TL;DR
Operations Early Career Program (OECP) Associate (Manufacturing): Developing manufacturing capabilities through a 24-month operations training program with an accent on Lean and Six Sigma problem solving, process improvement, quality systems, and project execution. Focus on reducing scrap, increasing productivity, sustaining process upgrades, maintaining manufacturing performance standards, and delivering engineering projects across dynamic production environments.

Location: On-site across manufacturing environments and distribution centers in the United States, with potential assignments in Perris, California; Peachtree City, Georgia; Mount Prospect, Illinois; Greenfield or Lowell, Indiana; Mentor, Painesville, Fairport Harbor, Miamisburg, or Oak Harbor, Ohio; Neenah, Wisconsin; or Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Relocation to program sites is required.

Salary: $86,000 per year

What you will do

  • Complete a 24-month blend of on-the-job, classroom, and virtual operations training.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma problem-solving initiatives and propose practical resolutions.
  • Support equipment and process upgrades to reduce scrap, increase productivity, improve quality, and sustain results.
  • Develop and implement quality control systems for products, materials, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide on-machine expertise to operators and staff to support manufacturing capability, capacity, delivery, and performance targets.
  • Build project timelines, assign responsibilities, and drive execution as a floating project engineer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or another engineering discipline.
  • Graduation in December for a January start or in May for a June start.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience, or relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Leadership experience through student organizations and demonstrated volunteer engagement.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Sponsorship is not available now or in the future, and willingness to relocate to any program site is required.
