Quality Technician - Electrical Inspector

Location: Brighton, Colorado, United States. Work arrangement: on-site on an active manufacturing floor.

Compensation: $29.00–$33.00 per hour plus bonus, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers.

What you will do

• Inspect and functionally test electrical components, sub-assemblies, modular data centers, Power Distribution Centers, and electrical houses.
• Perform live power validation, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing, and preliminary commissioning of electrical and control infrastructure.
• Validate system operation across 24VDC, 415VAC, HMI, and ATS systems.
• Prepare testing reports, compliance certificates, audit-ready documentation, SOPs, testing matrices, and training materials.
• Audit electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution integration, and final installation processes against approved drawings and standards.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances and engineering deviations with Engineering and Manufacturing teams through CAPA and DFM activities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical installations, including PDCs, E-houses, and industrial control panels.
• Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA 70B, IEEE, and NETA testing specifications.
• Experience with PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives, HMI systems, Motor Control Centers, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
• Advanced ability to read, interpret, and trace complex electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods, maneuver through modular units, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug/alcohol screening because the position is safety-sensitive.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of hands-on electrical experience with a valid Journeyman license, or 3+ years of electrical quality inspection experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with UL inspection methodologies, UL listing certification, documented industrial torquing, or torque specification verification.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Experience with MRP or ERP systems, particularly Acumatica.
