Preconstruction Manager

hirify.global is hiring for a construction preconstruction management role focused on project planning, estimating, and delivery.

What you will do

• Manage and supervise preconstruction team members and support staff.
• Prepare, review, and approve cost models, estimates, variance reports, and monthly cost analyses.
• Develop and maintain design, approval, estimating, purchasing, and preliminary construction schedules.
• Lead preconstruction strategy, risk review, constructability, value analysis, and transition meetings.
• Define scopes of work, pre-qualify bidders, and build relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare proposals and presentations, maintain client relationships, and support client needs before contract execution.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, effective interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement, and business development systems.
