Vice President of Construction

Location: Miami, Florida, United States. Primarily based in the corporate office with regular travel to active construction sites throughout South Florida.

What you will do

• Partner with the Development team from early planning through construction.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, permitting, procurement, and construction planning.
• Monitor multiple condominium projects, tracking schedules, budgets, progress, milestones, and field conditions.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, change orders, pay applications, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate Development, Construction, contractors, consultants, and executive leadership while escalating risks and unresolved issues.
• Support inspections, punch lists, turnover, unit delivery, and final project close-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15–20 years of experience in construction, development, project management, or a related field.
• Understanding of the construction process from preconstruction through completion.
• Experience managing construction budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, identify issues, and follow up on solutions.
• Willingness to travel regularly to active construction sites throughout South Florida.

Nice to have

• Experience with a real estate developer or development company.
• Experience with condominium, multifamily, or luxury residential projects.
• Experience across both development/preconstruction and construction.
• Knowledge of South Florida construction and development processes.
