Traveling Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical)

What you will do

• Lead all phases of mission-critical construction projects, from budgeting and bidding through cost control, client relations, and closeout.
• Participate in RFP responses, develop presentations, and lead client pitches.
• Manage preconstruction activities from schematic design and existing-condition reviews through final budget approval.
• Oversee owner and subcontractor contract reviews, project budgets, cost controls, reporting, and financial goals.
• Organize and guide internal and external project teams, including field operations, scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
• Develop project managers and assistant project managers through mentoring, training, and leadership by example.

Requirements

• 9+ years of construction project management experience, or equivalent experience based on bachelor’s or master’s degree level.
• 2–3 years of experience specifically in commercial construction.
• Experience managing scheduling, quality control, field operations, and subcontractors.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, financial management, drawing review, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and solid knowledge of construction trades and technical practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred; strong experience may be considered instead. Resume, references, and project list are required.
