Vice President, Global Operations Management & AIOps

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with at least two days per week in person at an assigned hirify.global office

Salary: $193,500–$406,500 per year, plus potential bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Establish and execute a global operations strategy focused on service reliability, transparency, automation, and intelligent operations.
• Lead the operating model across enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, network services, and regional operations.
• Improve availability and reliability through monitoring, service restoration, operational accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Direct major incident and problem management, including executive communications, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and post-incident reviews.
• Drive observability, event correlation, automation, and AIOps to improve detection and accelerate service restoration.
• Build and mentor a global operations leadership team and partner with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, platform, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of leadership experience in large-scale technology, infrastructure, site reliability, or enterprise operations within complex global organizations.
• Experience managing 24x7 operational environments and improving service reliability, availability, and performance.
• Proven leadership of major incident management, problem management, operational governance, and service reliability programs.
• Experience with IT Operations Management, IT Service Management, incident and problem management, service reliability, and operational governance.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, telemetry, event management, operational analytics, cloud, infrastructure, network, and hybrid technology environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with regular in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AIOps strategies using intelligent alerting, event correlation, predictive analytics, and automated remediation.
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles and modern service operations frameworks.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale operational transformation across cloud, infrastructure, and platform environments.
• Background in executive reporting, operational performance analytics, technology service portfolio management, and automation programs.
