Site Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Parsons, West Virginia, USA; fully onsite with periodic travel to the Beryl, West Virginia facility

Salary range: $73,900–$138,300 annually for Zone C locations; additional U.S. salary zones may apply. Eligible for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead the manufacturing site HSE strategy, teams, committees, training, and awareness programs.
• Drive a Zero Loss safety culture by reducing at-risk behaviors, improving hazard awareness, and strengthening risk identification.
• Manage HSE systems, performance metrics, site assessments, compliance gaps, and proactive prevention initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and complex root cause analyses to eliminate recurring risks.
• Ensure environmental reporting, regulatory inspections, OSHA compliance, and Zero Waste to Landfill initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Corporate HSE on capital projects, workers’ compensation, sustainability, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–10 years of experience in comparable manufacturing HSE roles; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of combustible dust, hot work, and hazardous energy control practices.
• Experience with environmental regulatory management and OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOL, and related requirements.
• Experience leading complex root cause analysis investigations and HSE activities for capital projects.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, Autonomous Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, including experience supporting or leading workers’ compensation programs.
