Oversight and Continuous Improvement Specialist (Environmental Management)

Location: Predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, United States; some remote support may be approved.

What you will do

• Implement and analyze oversight and continuous improvement programs supporting DOE Environmental Management operations.
• Facilitate Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, process mapping, and corrective action tracking.
• Develop performance metrics and process improvement dashboards for the DOE program office.
• Perform root cause analysis and data analysis to improve program effectiveness.
• Support communication and coordination across safety, environment, quality, engineering, regulatory, and security functions.
• Provide cross-functional program and project management support for Hanford Field Office activities.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in continuous improvement or quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline.
• Experience in the Environmental Management sector; DOE experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of process mapping, root cause analysis, and data analysis.
• Analytical rigor, adaptability, coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
• Quality or continuous improvement certification.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
