Process and Improvement Lead (Lean Six Sigma)

What you will do

• Champion continuous improvement and lead operational excellence initiatives across the organisation.
• Identify inefficiencies and process gaps, facilitate root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions with operational leaders.
• Develop process maps, SOPs, work instructions, learning materials, and user guides.
• Deliver Lean and Six Sigma training, facilitate workshops and capability-building sessions, and coach teams.
• Track initiative progress, benefits realisation, training capability, and the sustainability of improvements.
• Support automation, digitalisation, RPA, and AI-driven initiatives in collaboration with operational and technology teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Process Improvement roles.
• Strong experience in process mapping, documentation, and SOP development.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, communication, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Must have the right to live and work in New Zealand when applying. Police checks and/or pre-employment drug testing may be required.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transport environments.
