Advisor - Quality and Continuous Improvement (Memphis, TN)

Location: Based at the National Executive Office in Memphis, Tennessee; eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

What you will do

• Advise the Director of Enterprise Quality Management on strategies for developing a quality-focused enterprise discipline.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and advise business and process owners on effective solutions.
• Assess critical workflows, streamline and standardize processes, eliminate waste, and establish performance metrics and reporting.
• Implement complex cross-functional process improvement projects and quick wins.
• Help resolve quality issues affecting revenue, donor experience, and the St. Jude brand from identification through validation.
• Deliver training and mentoring on quality tools and continuous improvement methods.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of business process improvement experience in a similar role, including quality management, project management, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading project teams, mapping processes, identifying root causes, and developing sustainable solutions.
• Knowledge of Total Quality Management, the Baldrige Excellence Framework, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent quality methods.
• Background in operational efficiency, business process improvement, project management, financial statements, and data analysis applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, attention to detail, time management, and people management skills.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; advanced relevant experience may substitute for the credential.
