Regional Mortgage Operations Manager

What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day sales and production operations for the distributed mortgage channel.
• Lead the team in meeting key performance indicators, implementing procedures, and driving continuous improvement.
• Manage work hours, staffing levels, loan pipelines, utilization metrics, and incentive payment calculations.
• Make consumer, equity, and mortgage loan decisions, including pricing and underwriting exceptions.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers, retail offices, public agencies, and internal business partners to increase production and improve customer experience.
• Apply credit, pricing, portfolio, yield, risk, investor, insurer, and regulatory requirements to operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or related experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–6 years of business, finance, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to make timely decisions, evaluate problems and alternatives, and support recommendations with data or reasoning.
• Ability to motivate, direct, mentor, and allocate personnel and other resources effectively.
• Ability to understand and apply procedures, requirements, policies, and mortgage industry regulations.
