Auto Finance Credit Manager

What you will do

• Oversee credit operations and decisions for indirect consumer auto loans across assigned geographic markets.
• Personally review and manage the most complex credit applications, including approvals, denials, and negotiations.
• Develop and maintain dealer relationships through business development and customer service.
• Monitor portfolio compliance and risk across assigned markets.
• Train staff and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Recommend policy changes to improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with auto credit underwriting, preferably prime auto underwriting.
• Knowledge of local dealers and established dealer relationships; experience with multiple dealerships or dealer groups is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, sales, negotiation, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
