Loan Processor (Mortgage)

What you will do

• Review borrower credit, employment, income, assets, and application completeness before underwriting.
• Assemble loan packages, complete checklists, prepare approval summaries and Forms 1008 and 1003, and verify document accuracy.
• Coordinate with borrowers, Loan Originators, Underwriters, vendors, and third parties to obtain required documentation.
• Review loans for compliance with RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Regulation B, and other mortgage regulations.
• Manage the loan pipeline, reports, vendor orders, invoices, communication logs, and turnaround times.
• Support closing, secondary marketing, loan servicing, and the training of new processing personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
