TL;DR
Senior Project Manager (Federal): Delivering multidisciplinary Federal and Military AE design projects with an accent on scope, budget, scheduling, quality control, and client satisfaction. Focus on leading concurrent project teams, coordinating design and construction activities, and solving complex delivery challenges while meeting financial and program targets.

Location: Dallas, Texas; the position may be located in Louisville, Kentucky, or Fort Worth/Dallas, Texas. Full-time onsite role with approximately 10–15% local, regional, and national travel. Federal projects require a valid U.S. passport, an active driver’s license with REAL ID or another acceptable REAL ID form, and proof of U.S. citizenship.

Compensation: $164,279.49–$187,747.98 per year.

What you will do

  • Develop and oversee project deliverables, financial metrics, schedules, and program compliance.
  • Lead multiple multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate subconsultants and technical discipline leaders.
  • Manage scope, proposals, contract negotiations, budgets, staffing, design coordination, change management, estimating, bidding support, and construction administration.
  • Build client relationships, act as the primary company contact, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Administer quality programs, perform quality checks, and ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control plans.
  • Facilitate collective problem-solving and lead teams through complex project challenges.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience delivering or managing diverse Federal or Military AE design projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Licensed Architect or Engineer with reciprocity capability.
  • Experience leading multiple project teams, managing clients, and coordinating with discipline leaders and government leadership.
  • Experience with proposals, negotiations, quality assurance and quality control plans, project scheduling, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Valid U.S. passport, REAL ID or acceptable equivalent, and proof of U.S. citizenship are required for Federal projects; client background checks may be required for secure facilities access.

Nice to have

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Deltek.
