Senior Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Location: San Diego, California; local travel required for site visits and client meetings.

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 annually, based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Oversee installation of network systems, wireless infrastructure, and structured cabling while maintaining schedule, scope, quality, and client expectations.
• Coordinate Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Field Operations, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support RFP responses, validate project scope and feasibility, and provide input on architecture, equipment selection, and deployment strategies.
• Manage project budgets, labor plans, procurement, invoicing, subcontractor invoices, and financial risk.
• Ensure contract, E-rate, public-sector, certified-payroll, and audit-readiness requirements are met while improving delivery processes.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure or construction environments.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-site deployments.
• Strong background in network infrastructure, wireless systems, and structured cabling.
• PMP certification required.
• Leadership, stakeholder management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, and Excel; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Nice to have

• Public-sector and E-rate experience.
• Cisco, Aruba, or similar industry certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
