HVAC Field Service Technician I

Location: Parkville, Missouri, United States; full-time onsite work

What you will do

• Assist with servicing HVAC products and equipment at customer locations.
• Identify, analyze, and perform routine repairs on instruments and products.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, site surveys, installations, and equipment modifications.
• Determine required parts, place timely orders, and maintain inventory stock and service equipment.
• Document service activities and provide customer-site training, retraining, and follow-up.
• Drive and maintain a company vehicle, which may account for up to 95% of working hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• One to two years of customer service or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit comfortably for prolonged periods.

Nice to have

• Associate or technical degree in business, sales, or a related field.
