Senior Engineer - Wind (Geotechnical Engineering)

Salary: $93,600–$140,400 per year

What you will do

• Develop scopes of work and proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects in the wind sector.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, safety, staffing, and resource coordination.
• Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, professional opinions, practical solutions, and supporting documents.
• Perform engineering analyses using company and industry standards and methodologies.
• Lead technical and project teams, review work from junior engineers, and resolve quality issues.
• Develop client relationships and pursue wind-related business and project opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration or license, with eligibility to obtain licenses in multiple additional states.
• At least 5 years of wind geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of geology, geologic stability, and performance mechanisms.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
