Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d) - for semiconductor industry

Location: Feldkirchen, Germany, near Munich. The role includes approximately 10% travel and is not relocation eligible.

Salary: €70,400–€96,800 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, work instructions, and operating sequences for assemblies, modules, and systems.
• Support products through new product introduction, production ramp-up, sustaining manufacturing, controlled builds, process validations, and production transfers.
• Investigate manufacturing, process, and quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create and update manufacturing documentation and support engineering change implementation.
• Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and process improvements that improve productivity, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, production teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable role in high-tech, semiconductor, electronics, medical device, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycles, with hands-on production troubleshooting experience.
• Structured and analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations functions.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
