Lead Estimator – Infrastructure & EPC

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop entry- and mid-level estimators while setting workflows, standards, and performance expectations.
• Distribute workloads, coordinate Sales support requests, monitor deadlines, and provide status updates to the Estimating Manager.
• Prepare and evaluate BIM Fabrication packages, material and labor comparisons, joint count conversions, engineering model conversions, and material take-offs.
• Translate customer documents, piping specifications, and mechanical drawings into accurate, risk-informed estimates.
• Review piping drawings, BIM models, BOMs, isometric drawings, and spool sheets for scope accuracy, completeness, and compliance with VDC procedures.
• Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, US FAB, Engineering, and PMD teams to support proposals, technical reviews, and project handoffs.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in piping estimation, coordination, engineering, or design.
• Experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory estimating role is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of piping specifications and mechanical piping drawings, especially infrastructure-specific layouts.
• Required knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects, meet deadlines, communicate technical requirements clearly, and maintain quality standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Background in HVAC, industrial, EPC, water/wastewater, municipal, or utilities environments.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, AutoBid Est-MECH, or QuoteSoft.
• Comfort with AI tools and AI-assisted estimating workflows.
