Maintenance Mechanic (PLC/FANUC)

Location: Onsite in Germantown, Wisconsin, United States; 1st shift

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, and dismantle industrial production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, power, and control-system issues.
• Perform precision maintenance and rebuilds on CNC equipment, presses, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and rotating machinery.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and support FANUC robotic welding cells, safety circuits, and end-of-arm tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to install, integrate, move, and commission new equipment and production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, document modifications, manage mechanical supplies, and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems from low voltage through 480 volts and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot power and control systems and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, one-lines, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Ability to safely perform lockout/tagout, confined-space, hot-work, and elevated-work procedures.
• Must establish employment eligibility, pass background checks and pre-employment testing, and complete pulmonary function and respirator fit tests; a clean-shaven face is required for proper respirator fit.

Nice to have

• 5 or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of continuous pouring equipment, robotic welding applications, or E-Coat electrocoating equipment.
• Electrical minor or equivalent training.
