Senior Associate, Electrical (P.Eng)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada — 380 Wellington Street West

Salary: $125,000–$155,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Lead project design teams delivering institutional electrical projects, from business cases and functional programming to major renovations and additions.
• Manage staffing, workload planning, utilization, forecasting, task distribution, and team performance.
• Provide technical leadership and act as the electrical discipline lead with minimal peer or technical support.
• Lead quality improvement and quality-control practices, including field reviews to verify compliance with contract documents.
• Build and manage key client relationships, support pursuits, and contribute to GO/NO-GO business decisions.
• Develop team members through training, support, and career development while promoting an inclusive workplace.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical design experience covering high voltage, low voltage, controls, and lighting.
• Experience leading teams and designing institutional projects.
• Experience responding to RFPs and writing business cases.
• University degree or college/technology diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• LEED Accredited Professional designation or another relevant rating or performance-system credential.
