Senior Electrical Architect (Platform Strategy)

Location: Mississauga, Canada

Salary: $112,400–$162,400 annual, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive of 12% of base pay.

What you will do

• Assist with the design and development of core hardware platforms and support their rollout to product development teams.
• Create platform documentation and integration guidelines.
• Analyze product requirements and roadmaps to evaluate and select next-generation chipsets.
• Manage the approved vendor list and collaborate with procurement to maintain technical alignment and supply chain robustness.
• Drive full-lifecycle platform development, including signal and power integrity reviews.
• Partner with mechanical, software, and RF engineering teams to resolve system constraints and ensure Design for Manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in electrical hardware design and systems architecture.
• Experience with full-lifecycle hardware platform development and signal and power integrity reviews.
• Ability to collaborate across mechanical, software, RF engineering, procurement, and product development teams.
• Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence as applied to modern chipsets, including familiarity with automations and advanced prompting.
