Pediatrics Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)

Location: In person in the Louisville, Kentucky area, at an inpatient clinical setting

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment

What you will do

• Mentor BSN students during clinical experiences in an inpatient healthcare setting.
• Implement the nursing curriculum, course objectives, and program outcomes through clinical teaching.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate student nursing performance.
• Prepare clinical assignments, assess student work, and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Coordinate with clinical-site personnel regarding policies, procedures, expectations, and student issues.
• Contribute to simulation, skills lab, didactic instruction, program development, assessment, and retention efforts as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered Kentucky RN license required; an Illinois RN license will be required to teach all courses.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Availability for typically 3–4 consecutive 12-hour clinical shifts over 1–2 weeks per 8-week session, based on course and specialty needs.
