Compensation Specialist

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; onsite full-time. Travel required at less than 10%.

Base pay range: $72,000–$85,000 per year. Total compensation may also include commission, bonus, or profit sharing.

What you will do

• Evaluate compensation trends, survey data, and local market developments for non-exempt roles.
• Create compensation reports and use market data to support strategic business decisions and pay equity analyses.
• Evaluate positions, establish pay ranges, write job descriptions, and compile cost-of-labor and cost-of-living data.
• Develop and administer non-exempt compensation, incentive, bonus, merit, commission, and profit-sharing programs.
• Maintain compensation data, grades, plans, offers, and wage adjustments in Workday.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, legal, business stakeholders, and compensation leadership on compliant and equitable decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or HR management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of compensation administration experience.
• Knowledge of market pricing, salary structures, pay equity, compensation compliance, and compensation methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, influence, and time-management skills.
• Ability to make strategic decisions and manage projects independently and collaboratively.
