Superintendent - K-14 (Education)

Location: Sacramento, California, United States; onsite, full time

Annual salary: $110,500–$165,700

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate materials and tools, and support planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Establish quality-control standards, review drawings and specifications, and manage submittals and punch lists.
• Prepare time sheets, work orders, daily reports, invoice approvals, and project close-out documentation.
• Coordinate start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and acceptance.

Requirements

• Project experience working on K-14 DSA projects is required.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory-level field construction experience and knowledge of multiple construction trades.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or commitment to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
