Social Media Strategist

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; hybrid work with initial in-person training and possible work-from-home time based on job responsibilities

What you will do

• Develop branded Auto-Owners content for review.
• Curate and manage content across social media platforms.
• Suggest and monitor KPIs to measure platform performance.
• Apply social media best practices aligned with company standards and culture.
• Monitor company and sponsorship-partner platforms, engage with followers, and route positive and negative reviews to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Support regional philanthropic efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, with possible waiver at the company’s discretion based on education and experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and manage time while providing timely responses.
• Ability to use software to construct content and learn new PC tools.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with disgruntled consumers.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• B-to-B or B-to-C social media content creation experience.
• Underwriting or claims experience.
• Interest in creating positive customer experiences.
