Youth Instructor (Education)

What you will do

• Deliver youth work-readiness, life-skills, and math curricula, including surveys and assessments.
• Evaluate participant strengths, challenges, training needs, and learning outcomes.
• Provide one-to-one coaching and model workplace professionalism and communication.
• Develop and refine curricula, hands-on activities, instructional materials, handouts, visual aids, and train-the-trainer modules.
• Maintain participant records, case notes, and programmatic reports while discussing progress with project staff.
• Support recruitment, community workshops, and the agency GED testing site, including scheduling, documentation, and test proctoring.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in education or a related field, or proven experience as an instructor.
• Knowledge of youth development best practices and youth-adult partnership principles.
• Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and instruction.
• Creativity, strong analytical, writing, speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with diverse groups.
• Valid Puerto Rico K-12 teaching license required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Bilingual English and Spanish fluency.
