Mercury Marine: Continuous Improvement Co-op (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role at Plant 15 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States. Relocation is available; travel is not required.

Salary: $18.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and transactional process leaders to support strategic goals and financial results.
• Identify problems and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and transactional processes.
• Lead and mentor diverse cross-functional teams to achieve project results and develop people.
• Build rapport, influence stakeholders, and serve as a liaison across organizational functions.
• Solve technical problems using facts while managing change and project risk.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's program in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related manufacturing-focused degree, or Operations Management.
• At least first-semester junior standing with 48 completed credits.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 or more hours per week, for a January–August 2027 or June–December 2027 co-op term.
• Eligibility to enroll in a formal co-op program through a university.
• Dependability, self-motivation, active learning, and good communication skills.
