Mercury Marine: Credit Intern (Finance)

Location: Onsite at Plant 10 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, United States. Relocation is available. The role requires full-time onsite work for 40 or more hours per week from May through December 2027.

What you will do

• Support customer payment collection activities and maintain notes and records in collection software.
• Analyze customer financial information and support credit-line establishment and reviews.
• Use Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools to monitor dashboards, analyze collection performance, and identify process improvements.
• Apply AI-powered analytics and automation tools to credit-risk assessment, collections prioritization, forecasting, and workflow optimization.
• Participate in special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, digital transformation, and data visualization work.
• Prepare reports and presentations by consolidating and analyzing customer, credit, and collection data.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• At least second-semester sophomore standing with 48 completed credits.
• Availability for full-time work of 40 or more hours per week from May through December 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a self-starting attitude and willingness to learn credit, collections, finance, and data analytics.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
