Track & Trace Coordinator (Logistics)

Location: 75 Steel City Ct, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 50,000–58,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor active transportation runs and track driver progress using Samsara GPS and dispatch tools.
• Verify scheduled pickups, deliveries, swaps, removals, and live loads, identifying delays, route deviations, and missed appointments.
• Communicate with drivers, external carriers, Dispatch, Planning, and Customer Service teams to provide status updates and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate service recovery, including rescheduling delayed services and documenting exceptions and corrective actions.
• Update transportation management systems and operational records with accurate real-time status information.
• Track service metrics, support KPI reporting, and identify opportunities to improve transportation operations.

Requirements

• Entry-level profile or 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or customer service.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to work at the Hamilton, Ontario location.

Nice to have

• Experience with transportation management systems.
• Experience using Samsara or GPS fleet-tracking software.
• Knowledge of trucking, container transportation, or logistics operations.
• Experience collaborating with customer service and transportation teams.
