Junior Ocean Export Agent

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; night shift from 15:00 to 23:00.

Salary: CAD 40,000–45,000 per year.

What you will do

• Receive documents, prepare shipments, and process freight accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate freight movement with customers, ocean carriers, drivers, customs brokers, and internal operations teams.
• Place bookings with ocean carriers and route shipments.
• Monitor shipments and manage track-and-trace activities.
• Submit and manage ACI/eManifest filings for cross-border shipments.
• Troubleshoot shipment holds and customs documentation issues while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• College graduate or above.
• Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
• Fluent English required.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, collaborate effectively, and communicate professionally.
• Ability to work the 15:00–23:00 night shift and perform primarily desk-based work.
