What you will do

  • Assist Canadian customers with purchases and repairs of mechanical seals.
  • Communicate with customers and outside sales representatives about product applications, quotations, complaints, problems, and emergency calls.
  • Enter orders by interpreting customer requirements and technical drawings and compiling bills of materials.
  • Coordinate customer requirements with engineering, purchasing, assembly, manufacturing, and invoicing departments.
  • Manage orders end to end, ensuring delivery commitments are met and addressing delays.
  • Identify returned materials, assist walk-in customers, and maintain reference files for procedures, product lists, pricing, and quotations.

Requirements

  • Mechanical technologist or technician college education, or a high school diploma.
  • 3–5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read detailed drawings and use measuring instruments.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand both French and English.
