Dispatcher (Transportation)

Location: Richmond, British Columbia, Canada (Vancouver area)

Salary: $22.00–$25.00 CAD per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily transportation activities, including dispatching drivers and arranging vehicle pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinate vehicle movement to and from Vehicle Logistics Centers and complete related transportation documentation.
• Enter vehicle, location, shipment, and transaction data accurately into transportation and inventory management systems.
• Quote transportation services, process transactions, post charges, and investigate discrepancies.
• Schedule transport drivers, coordinate with lead drivers, and track outstanding shipments through aging reports.
• Provide customer support, resolve complaints, escalate serious incidents, and collaborate with sales and dealer relations teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related logistics or dispatching experience.
• Comfort using technology and Google Suite.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• Experience with AMS, VTrace, or other hirify.global systems.
• Bilingual English/French communication skills.
• Ability to assess workload and complete prioritized tasks independently.
