Senior Environmental Planner

Location: Based in the Ontario office, Ontario, California, United States

Salary: $85,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Prepare planning analyses and reports for environmental reviews, including NEPA and CEQA.
• Develop Community Impact Assessments, Land Use Assessments, Equity Analyses, and Section 4(f) Analyses.
• Collect and organize research, interview, mapping, and field investigation data.
• Prepare regulatory permit applications for CDFW, USACE, and RWQCB.
• Support natural resources fieldwork, assessments, and public involvement activities.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in environmental planning or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal and California environmental policy, environmental review, climate action, and environmental justice.
• Technical proficiency with MS Word, Teams, and Excel.
• Master’s degree in environmental planning or a related field preferred.

• Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
