Senior Environmental Project Manager

Location: On-site in Brooklyn, New York

Salary: $120,000 – $155,000

What you will do

• Manage environmental due diligence, investigation, and remediation projects including Phase I/II ESAs and Brownfield Cleanup programs.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and technical deliverables from initiation through closure.
• Coordinate field investigations, contractors, drillers, and laboratories to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Review and prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals for NYC and NYS environmental programs.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on field planning and data evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and represent the firm in interactions with clients and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Working knowledge of NYC E-Designation and NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites within the NYC metropolitan area.
• Strong project management skills with experience in managing budgets, subcontractors, and client expectations.

Nice to have

• M.S. degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• New York State Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer certification.
• Experience with in-situ remediation, vapor mitigation, and construction-phase environmental compliance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or ArcGIS.
