Manufacturing Operator 2 (Day Shift)

What you will do

• Perform assembly, testing, inspection, calibration, and intermediate-level troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and materials.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain equipment, including preventative maintenance and minor repairs or adjustments.
• Collect and interpret operating and inspection data, monitor process variation, and make approved process adjustments.
• Support engineering tests, trials, design of experiments, and process validation activities.
• Recommend improvements to documentation, work methods, cycle time, throughput, and product quality.
• Mentor Manufacturing Operator I employees and support daily workflow coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related technical environment.
• Experience with precision tools, gauges, microscopes, calibrated instruments, and basic test equipment.
• Knowledge of quality standards, documentation, safety protocols, and PPE requirements.
• Ability to stand, sit, perform repetitive motions, wear cleanroom attire for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work the assigned 7:00 a.m.–7:15 p.m. shift schedule, including rotating weekday and weekend patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, semiconductor, MEMS, or precision manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SPC, basic data analysis, or quality-control tools.
• Experience mentoring or training team members.
• Skills in electrical testing, electronics repair, probe cards, SMT soldering, blueprints, and QA inspection.
