Electrical Superintendent (Travel) (Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, and Mission Critical): Overseeing electrical construction scopes, subcontractors, installation quality, safety, and schedule compliance on complex projects with an accent on QA/QC, commissioning readiness, and mission-critical electrical systems. Focus on coordinating UPS systems, generators, switchgear, grounding, low-voltage systems, A/B feeds, LOTO, and integrated systems testing.
Location: Columbus, Ohio, USA; travel required

What you will do
- Oversee electrical construction scopes, subcontractors, foremen, materials, tools, equipment, and manpower planning.
- Coordinate daily electrical activities with mechanical, structural, and general trades.
- Manage short-interval schedules, prefabrication strategies, readiness walks, and coordination meetings.
- Perform quality walks and maintain inspections, checklists, turnover documentation, and QA/QC procedures.
- Support commissioning preparation, equipment verification, cable meggering, and integrated systems testing.
- Enforce electrical safety procedures, including LOTO, arc-flash protocols, energized-work avoidance, and daily field safety checks.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of electrical construction field experience.
- Required experience in life sciences, food and beverage, and/or mission-critical or data-center environments.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, electrical systems, and commissioning processes.
- Experience supervising electrical subcontractors and foremen.
- Proficiency with Procore, BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
