Electrical Superintendent (Data Center Construction)

Location: Chandler, AZ, United States. The role involves work at indoor offices and outdoor industrial construction sites, exposure to varying weather conditions, and up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Oversee project craft employees and coordinate multiple crews of up to 150 craft workers.
• Work with project management to maintain project schedule, budget, and electrical construction execution.
• Train foremen to develop, monitor, and follow three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of project materials and equipment.
• Ensure electrical work meets applicable standards and support QA/QC program implementation.
• Lead site safety activities, field communication, progress meetings, and compliance reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the electrical trade, including at least 3 years in data center construction.
• Experience managing projects with multiple crews and at least 150 craft employees.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, OSHA requirements, and safety practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of electrical trade experience focused on data center construction.
• Experience developing and adjusting overall construction schedules.
• Ability to direct electrical installation and troubleshooting activities.
• Experience coordinating manpower and material orders after price comparison.
