MEP Superintendent

Location: On-site full-time at an active Giga data center construction site; specific location depends on current project needs.

What you will do

• Supervise daily MEP construction, including MV/HV electrical systems, switchgear, UPS, CRAH/CRAC systems, chillers, piping, and plumbing.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors and sequence work across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, and commissioning trades.
• Review field work against single-line diagrams, P&IDs, MEP specifications, OPR/BOD requirements, and applicable codes.
• Enforce electrical and mechanical safety standards, including LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate commissioning preparation for FPTs and IST, resolve commissioning issues, and support quality inspections and punch-list closeout.
• Maintain daily logs, track schedule progress, identify risks and material issues, and support manpower planning and subcontractor performance management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of MEP construction experience, including at least 3+ years in a superintendent or equivalent field-leadership role.
• Experience managing MEP scopes on large-scale industrial, utility, or mission-critical facility projects.
• Strong working knowledge of MV/HV electrical systems, switchgear, UPS, and CRAH/CRAC systems.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and MEP specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors across multiple trades and coordinate with commissioning teams, engineers, and project leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience building data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
• Direct experience supporting commissioning activities, including FPTs and IST.
• Familiarity with BMS and controls integration in the field.
