What you will do
- Lead and coordinate electrical construction activities at active project sites.
- Promote site safety, conduct HSE audits and safety walks, monitor corrective actions, and manage permits to work.
- Provide technical direction to electrical contractors and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, quality requirements, inspections, and contractor Inspection and Test Plans.
- Attend coordination meetings, support system walkdowns, track progress, and report on contractor performance and productivity.
- Identify constructability concerns and help resolve coordination issues across disciplines, including temporary site power and data networks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical construction supervision, coordination, or related roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability and willingness to travel 100% for project assignments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, safety standards, permit-to-work processes, applicable codes, and regulations.
- Experience supervising contractors and coordinating multiple stakeholders in an active construction environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, organizational, quality-monitoring, inspection, and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard project reporting tools.
