Senior Product Development Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Hai Phong City, Vietnam; full-time, onsite role with frequent local travel approximately 1–2 hours from the office.

What you will do

• Develop and design toy and product concepts into defined products.
• Manage product development projects and resolve technical issues.
• Partner with upfront development teams to launch new or resourced products in OEM plants.
• Lead vendors and OEMs through product and process development.
• Support debugging, pilot production, and troubleshooting to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Improve process control and production-line efficiency, minimize scrap, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• University or technical college degree in mechanical, industrial, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in product development or manufacturing, preferably in toys, household products, consumer products, or plastic injection molding.
• Fairly good spoken and listening English, plus good written English.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting techniques.
• Positive attitude toward continuous personal development.
• Availability for frequent local travel approximately 1–2 hours from the office.

Nice to have

• Basic Mandarin speaking ability.
