Electrical Superintendent (Traveling)

Location: Fairfax, Virginia, USA; full-time traveling role

What you will do

• Support electrical construction execution across branch distribution, lighting, grounding, low-voltage systems, and equipment installation.
• Manage short-interval schedules, prefabrication planning, manpower planning, and coordination with mechanical, structural, and general trades.
• Coordinate electrical materials, tools, equipment, foremen, and subcontractors during daily installations.
• Verify installation quality, code and specification compliance, QA/QC documentation, inspections, checklists, and turnover requirements.
• Prepare commissioning activities, including equipment verification, cable meggering, readiness walks, and integrated systems testing.
• Support installation of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs/RPPs, grounding grids, and segregated redundant power pathways while enforcing electrical safety procedures.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of electrical construction field experience.
• Required experience in life science, food and beverage, mission-critical, or data-center environments.
• Experience supervising electrical subcontractors and foremen.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, electrical systems, commissioning processes, and electrical safety practices.
• Proficiency with Procore, BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to support field-based, full-time traveling project work in the United States.

Nice to have

• QA/QC experience involving testing, inspections, and documentation.
• OSHA 30 certification.
