Electrical Engineer (5-7 years)

Location: Houston Metro, Texas, United States; full-time office position

What you will do

• Design electrical systems and develop construction documents from project conception through completion.
• Consult with architects, owners, and general contractors on project requirements and solutions.
• Work with civil, structural, mechanical, fire protection, and other engineering disciplines.
• Apply power system analysis software to support electrical design and project delivery.
• Travel for site visits and manage multiple tasks while working independently and training others.
• Contribute to marketing and business initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of relevant electrical engineering design and construction experience in the AEC industry.
• Electrical Engineering-in-Training registration is required; Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, electronic drawing software, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with power system analysis software such as E-TAP, EasyPower, or SKM.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with lighting software such as AGI or Visual Lighting.
• Experience with medium- or high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems design, or federal project design.
• Professional Engineer registration in Electrical Engineering.
