IT Service Specialist (Healthcare IT)

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, United States; travel between offices is required as needed.

Salary: $27.85–$57.84 per hour, DOE

Cancer Care Northwest is an integrated cancer center providing diagnosis, treatment, and support for cancer and blood-related diseases in the Inland Northwest.

What you will do

• Provide help desk support, troubleshoot end-user issues, manage tickets, and escalate problems to vendors when appropriate.
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor enterprise applications, Windows systems, desktop computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Create and delete user accounts in Active Directory and other systems, manage user and group security, and request email accounts.
• Support new system deployments, equipment installation, network monitoring, and the transition of implemented systems into operational use.
• Document support issues, vendor communications, equipment orders, shipments, and hardware/software inventories.
• Work with the CIO, internal IT team, MSP network, vendors, and staff on IT projects, meetings, recommendations, and environment planning.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience supporting Windows-based systems and business applications.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, Microsoft Office, antivirus software, browsers, email, hardware, peripherals, mobile computing, remote troubleshooting, and network connectivity.
• Ability to train and support end users on IT systems and applications.
• Ability to support computer security and compliance policies.
• Ability to travel between offices and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
