Service Delivery Provisioning Administrator II (Telecommunications)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, United States; remote eligible

What you will do

• Support Delivery Engineers in building, provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting network services.
• Execute engineering designs and planned infrastructure changes across IP, MPLS, carrier Ethernet, wireless data/IP, voice, and TDM/SONET networks.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting with technical support, engineering, and internal business groups.
• Process circuit turn-ups and service change requests across data, voice, and transport networks.
• Support network growth initiatives and work with Project Managers to complete delivery tasks.
• Perform SLA-mandated service delivery testing and review planned and unplanned infrastructure changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and an associate degree in networking or a related field.
• At least six years of combined technical support experience with network platforms, testing, routers, switches, LAN/WAN networking, telecommunications, wireless data/IP, data communications, or telephony systems.
• Broad knowledge of telecommunications core network equipment, protocols, redundancy, reliability monitoring, signaling, and testing.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, internet, IP telephony, and MPLS systems.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Nokia, Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper routers and switches, ARRIS cable modem termination systems, Sandvine policy traffic switches, Incognito DHCP servers, and Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including occasional weekends, holidays, additional hours, and emergency after-hours support.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA, Nokia NRS-I, Juniper JNCIA, or equivalent certification.
• Cisco CCNP, Nokia NRS-II, Juniper JNCIP, SCTE DEP, or equivalent certification.
• Cisco CCIE, Nokia SRA, Juniper JNCIE, SCTE IPEP, or equivalent certification.
• Telecommunications experience and other relevant industry certifications.
