Manager, Client Finance

Location: New York, New York — hybrid role

Salary: $66,300–$95,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

hirify.global is a media agency with a client finance function supporting media buying and account operations.

What you will do

• Own and maintain client finance trackers, verify authorized budgets, and ensure plans are accurately entered into media buying systems.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis across authorized, planned, purchased, and billed activity; track campaign pacing and resolve discrepancies.
• Project-manage the order-to-cash cycle, including media-buy quality control, approvals, reconciliations, deliverable calendars, and receivables follow-up.
• Act as the primary finance contact for clients, lead monthly finance status calls, and provide reporting and audit support.
• Support internal client management through burn reports, forecasting, budgeting, flash processes, questionnaires, and business management policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and collaborate with cross-functional teams on media buying best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of client-facing experience, preferably in the media industry.
• Strong analytical, project management, Excel, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to explain financial concepts, manage multiple timelines, and develop creative solutions to client requests.
• Understanding of accounting principles and standard media billing processes.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• BS/BA degree and ability to work in the New York hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Prior client management experience.
• Knowledge of SBMS or MediaOcean OX.
